Dr. Mireille Miller-Young is an award-winning author, cultural critic, speaker, and scholar who has spent more than two decades asking provocative questions about race, sexuality, power, pleasure, and representation. An Associate Professor of Feminist Studies at UC Santa Barbara, she is the author of the prize-winning A Taste for Brown Sugar: Black Women in Pornography and a frequent commentator on sexuality, culture, film, and media.

Today, Dr. Mireille is bringing those conversations into new territory—exploring intimacy, artificial intelligence, creativity, cultural freedom, and the changing possibilities of human connection. Through writing, speaking, media, consulting, and original creative work, she brings intellectual rigor, curiosity, humor, and an unapologetic willingness to go where polite conversation often doesn’t.
